Happy Birthday MLK!

Make Move’s Monday!

Today, we celebrate one of the greatest minds of all time, Martin Luther King Jr. Happy Birthday to the KING.

Thank You, Thank You. Thank You to Dr. King for his courage and the Dream he had for all of us. Dr. King was one in a Trillion, there will be no one like him. In today’s world, we don’t have a leader standing up to the injustices that’s still goes on today.

”Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere” ~MLK

Who will be the people’s voice? Will it be my child? Will it be yours?

“We must learn to live together as brother or parish together as fools”~MLK

When will we ALL learn to live, treat and respect each other? If you’re white, black, Latino, Chinese or whatever, when will Dr. King’s dream really happen?  It’s been 51 years since the great King’s departure and we’re still having some of the same problem we had back then. Yes, some of his dreams came true but some of his dreams have turn into nightmares. If we want change we All have to change and it starts with us Dads.

“I have a Dream that my four little children will one day live in a Nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character”. ~MLK

As a parent we all want that for our children to live in a world that they are treated by the content of their character and not their race. We all can do better, especially in today’s world where everything is divided. Let today remind us why it’s important to teach our kids right from wrong. We all have dreams of living a safe and righteous life. Let’s keep MLK’s dream alive and do the right thing. That would be the greatest gift we could give to a man that gave his life for us.

Once again, Happy Birthday Day to Martin Luther King Jr. one of the greatest minds and souls of our time. Thank You, because of You I can express my feelings.

FYI if you’re a young parent check out this kids book written by King’s son “My Daddy” it’s a fun read.
