Keep Your Mind Exercising By Reading
Get your mind right.
So, this past weekend my son was sick, no, not the flu "Thank God" but just a sore throat. He couldn't really do any activities because any type of cold kicks in his asthma. I don’t know about your kids but this guy thought his days were going to be chillaxing and playing video games or watching tv all day while we delivered food to him on the couch. Let’s be honest, that’s how it was when I was young...but you grow up and you learn more and do better.
Two weeks ago we had Parent/Teacher conferences and we found out Milian went up two reading levels. I don’t know about you but hearing and knowing you had something to do with your kids progress is such a dope feeling. Even though he doesn’t see it now I know all of those trips to the bookstore, library and bedtime reading is paying off. #teachthemyoung
Our Barnes and Noble is like the jump off spot for kids. There’s a kid section and all the books are available for kids to grab and read right there. At the moment, Diary of a Wimpy Kid is his thing.
Ok, we all know there's no "Free" books to take home at Barnes and Noble but no worries Swaggerdad has your back with these "Free" Kids books my son picked out. Challenge your kids to read a book, hey you never know they just might like it!
These are this week's picks Enjoy!! Remember get their MIND right.. #Bookclub #IsCool
