Fashion Friday, Thank You Joe!

Thank God it's Friday!

We here at swaggerdad would like to say Thank You to Joe Giradi and the New York Yankees for an amazing Year. This year's team wasn't expected to go as far as they did. It was suppose to be a "Rebuilding" year and the Yankees shocked everybody by making it to the playoffs and took the  Houston Astro's to game 7. This was all due to the man in charge, Joe Giradi. Yes, the players play but the coach/manager are the ones making all the right moves. Joe did that with a team that wasn't suppose to make it to the playoffs. Giradi, did a great job with the roster he had. To coach a team that has a mix of young players like  Arron Judge, Gary Sanchez, Greg Bird and Luis Severino to the veterans like  CC Sabathia, Brett Garner, Jacoby Ellsbury and the new guys Matt Holiday, Todd Frazier and Aroldis Chapman. It's a hard thing to do in the Big Leagues but Joe made it work. We want to say Thank You again for managing  the "Best" Team in  all of sports for the last 10 years. We made the playoffs 6 times out of 10 and won it all in 2009. By the way, I was there that game, one of the greatest moments in my life. As a Yankees fan it's hard to see him go but as a parent I know it's the right move for Joe and his family. This week's "Fashion Friday" is dedicated to Joe and the New York Yankees. We wish you and your family all the best, Joe. I know Cashman and the Steinbrenner's will do the right thing and honor you one day. We'll always remember you bringing the 1st Championship to the new Stadium! You're in the record books, buddy.

I'm glad I got a chance to witness you coach. My son and I went to a few games this year and quite frankly the Yankees won all the games we attended. We were there when Arron Judge hit his record breaking Home Run with number 50, the most by any Rookie. It was history in making and my son and I witnessed it all.
